Getty Challenge Fun
I hope you're all staying safe and staying home during this unprecedented time in our history. The Now, more than ever, we must see that we are one. One world completely affected by one pandemic. Please take this time to care for yourself, your family, your friends, loved ones and neighbors. I am especially thankful that I can stay home with my daughters, helping them adjust to online learning, while I continue to work on my websites, email marketing and just about any other online business that I can figure out. This is most definitely time to think outside the box even though we are all stuck in one and looking at another. We all need a distraction. So when the Getty Museum issued a fun and playful challenge asking folks to recreate a masterpiece from their collection, my daughters and I were game to play. We each chose a painting from the collection, my younger daughter Kaira chose Paul Cezanne's Young Italian Woman at a Table, my older daughter Kali chose Edouard Manet's Jeune (Spring) and I chose Rogier van der Weyden's Portrait of Isabella of Portugal. We had an absolute blast going through our closets and selecting clothes and props that we could use. Check out the photos and take the challenge for yourself! ;-) hkv
